Anne Angelshaug is a freelance illustrator and artist. Born in Oslo, she grew up in the West coast of Norway with teachers for parents and two older brothers.

She studied illustration in England at the Falmouth College of Art and design graduating with a BA honours degree.

Her quirky style and bright colour have caught the eye of many. She has worked as a freelance illustrator since 1999. Previous clients include GyldendalForlag, Dinside.no and Egmont Forlag.

Her paintings have been exhibited at: Ramfjord galleri – Oslo, The Picture House Cornwall, Oksen Galleri – Porsgrunn, Pygmalion – Bergen, Godt Brød – Bergen and Kafe Poesi – Hamar. A collection of her work was bought by by University Hospital in Bergen 2007.
Astrup Fernleys Forvaltningsfond bought a painting from Anne in 2007.
Anne Illustrated the children's book 'Torbjørn Isbjørn' written by Titus Kodzoman & published by Skald Forlag in 2009.

Julian Mills is a trained photographer, an artist and musician.
He grew up in Cornwall in the southwest of England. Leaving school at the age of 16 he attended Falmouth School of Art and design before specialising in photography at Plymouth College of Art and design where he won a national award for his photography.

Later he pursued a career as a musician playing drums in many bands. Whilst living in Brighton he joined 'The Divers' and up and coming punk band who were included in the top 10 new bands in NME magazine.

Later Julian returned to Cornwall volunteering as a conservationist, he then met his future wife Anne Angelshaug and they moved to Norway.
Julian’s art has been exhibited all over Norway and South England.

Naive Communication is a collaborative name for the work of Julian Mills and Anne Angelshaug, clients include Gyldendal Forlag, Dinside.no and Egmont Forlag.
